Reunion丨Celebrating Temple of Heaven and Forbidden City 600th Anniversary - October

On the evening of October 3, Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry, held a VIP private party entitled REUNION on the fifth floor of the rooftop garden of Beijing Pearl Market. It coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival and China’s National Day, and that people's lives were on the right track after the impact of the epidemic. The party was very meaningful, and ambassadors from multiple nations were invited to attend. Ms. Paloma Sanchez, founder and Creative Director of Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry brand, chose The Little Prince, an iconic book, as the theme of the brand's event, REUNION, as it reflects the brand's philosophy and the artist's own values: “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eyes.

This year marks the 600th anniversary of the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City, the main representatives of China's identity and culture. “I think this is the perfect occasion to celebrate China's victory and generosity towards the rest of the world,” said Paloma Sanchez, the founder and Creative Director. “China has overcome the difficult times the world is going through this year. After so many months of being separated from our loved ones, unable to hug our friends and loved ones, China's message is that we should all unite to overcome difficulties.“

The launching of HUG, the brand's new creation, is a celebration of victory and the power of giving, representing people's awareness of the importance of helping each other.

Ms. Paloma designed REUNION’s choreography inspired by the Little Prince’s beloved rose. Award-winning British dancer, Ms. Amy Grubb, impressed the guests with an elegant ballet portraying the rose, and a 7-year-old “Little Prince” read the most representative sentences of the famous book, enhancing uniqueness, love, and what truly matters in life, matching them with Ms. Paloma Sanchez’s one-of-a-kind jewelry creations displayed on a background screen.

Others' love and friendship are what makes us unique, one-of-a-kind, like my jewelry based exclusively in nature,” said Paloma Sanchez. “Things are unique only because we make them so. We plant them, water them, and take care of them because they are important to us.

As the founder of Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry, she is always committed to creating true unique luxury experiences that just cannot be replicated for customers. The distinguished guests include ambassadors and diplomats, executives from multinational firms, media, and private collectors.

All guests were amazed by the stunning venue, although most of them had come to Pearl Market many times. It was the time when the Temple of Heaven was lighting up overlooking the city, the sunset in the West, the old side of the city, while the auspicious pink full moon rose in the East, the modern side of the city. What a magical evening it was!
