On December 6th 2024, Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry, joining hands with CHÂTEAU RODUIT, a winery from Deqin, Yunnan, hosted a private wine tasting and jewelry appreciation event. Together, we embarked on a fascinating journey celebrating the art of wine and gemstones.

Just as fine wine is nurtured by the sunlight and rain of the vineyard and perfected through years of aging in the cellar, precious gemstones are marvels of billions of years of geological transformation, and brought to life through unique design and meticulous craftsmanship. Both represent the artistry of time and the treasures that nature offers.

This extraordinary evening not only immersed guests in an ambiance of luxury and elegance but also conveyed a lifestyle of sophistication and a pursuit of beauty. As Paloma Sanchez often says, “True luxury is an experience that cannot be replicated.” The encounter of wine and gemstones on this winter’s evening created a joyous and unforgettable memory.

CHÂTEAU RODUIT, a winery founded in 2018 by Swiss winemaker Yves Roduit and his Tibetan wife Helena, has its vineyards situated at an altitude of 2,700 meters in the valley of the Mekong in Deqin County, at the foot of Meili Snow Mountains. The wines are produced through natural and environmentally friendly viticulture methods. They are patiently fermented and aged in clay jars.

Paloma Sanchez, The Art of Jewelry was founded in 2008 by Paloma Sanchez, a GIA gemologist, jewelry artist and professional gemstone investment advisor. She travels directly to mines in producing countries in seek of top-quality specimens and exquisite gemstones worldwide, and captures nature's essence in her artworks by preserving the natural forms of gemstones and minerals.
